As the UK transitions to 2026, organisations are preparing for one of the most significant shifts in cyber governance in recent years. The forthcoming Cyber Security and Resilience (Network and Information Systems) Bill, introduced to Parliament in late 2025, will reshape the existing NIS Regulations by expanding the scope of regulated entities, tightening incident reporting obligations, and raising resilience expectations across essential and digital services.
